Kumano Kodo Iseji Route
- Iseji route, one of the Kumano Kodo Pilgrimage routes leading to "Kumano Sanzan" (a set of three shrines, "Kumano Hongu Taisha", "Kumano Hayatama Taisha" and "Kumano Nachi Taisha"), is located in Wakayama. Iseji, which connects to Ise Jingu of Mie, and Kumano Sanzan, has enjoyed popularity since the Edo Period as a route taken by pilgrims that were headed towards Kumano Sanzan after visiting Ise Jingu.

There is a beautiful scenery in every season. Climatically, spring to autumn is recommended. After the rain of the day or the next day wet Stone pavement is slippery and dangerous, so a sunny day is good for people without confidence in the legs. -
