Taushubetsu River Bridge, the phantom bridge on Lake Nukabira. After being used as a railway bridge for almost 20 years since 1938, it has deteriorated over time because of weathering in Lake Nukabira, resulting in its present-day appearance. This popular attraction is nicknamed the phantom bridge because its crumbling appearance looks different depending on the level of the lake.
Asahiyama Zoo is a popular zoo located in the northernmost part of Japan. It is known for its naturalistic animal exhibits, which allow visitors to see animals in their natural habitat. The zoo is home to a variety of animals, including seals brimming with playful energy, penguins that slice through the water like the open sky, and imposing polar bears that visitors can view up close. It is visited by many from both Japan and abroad.
