Tomoekan Original 8th Station, at an altitude of 3,400 meters, is located at the end of the 8th station. It takes about one hour and 30 minutes to reach the summit from the mountain hut. - Participants will be presented with water at Original 8th Station Tomoekan. Mt. Fuji water is very valuable and expensive, but it is a necessity. You can receive one bottle of mineral water at Tomoekan, so you can reduce your luggage.
- When raining
- Since the altitude is high and the temperature is low at Tomoekan Original 8th Station, it is hard to dry futon mattress once it's get wet. You cannot get into a bed when wet. In addition, you may catch a cold or get hypothermia if you are in wet clothes. Please be sure to bring dry clothes (Top and bottom) and change to them. The clothes in the rucksack should be kept in a bag not to get wet.
- The Buddha statue in the hall
- The statue was temporarily lost due to the destruction of the abandoned Buddha, but was discovered at the Kitaguchi Hongu Asama Shrine in 1926. The imitation which was made in June 1923, is enshrined at the original eighth station. Tomoekan. He has been called the ""Child of the Sun"" or the Sweaty Jizo for a long time.
